I’ve never been particularly interested in marketing for marketing’s sake. I’m interested in how businesses work, why customers buy, and what needs to happen next.
My career has been a little unconventional, which is probably why I see go-to-market the way I do. I’ve owned a restaurant, developed private-label products, worked in business systems, run operations at a marketing agency, helped take software to market, and spent the last several years inside B2B technology companies. Along the way, I became the person who naturally connects the dots between the customer, the product, sales, marketing, and the people actually doing the work.
That’s what I do through Sticky Note Strategy today. I work with early-growth companies when the opportunity is there, but go-to-market is getting messy. Sometimes that means positioning a technical product so a buyer actually cares. Sometimes it’s figuring out why a marketing program isn’t producing what everyone expected. Sometimes there’s a trade show six weeks away and we simply need to make that work first.
I’m a strategist, but I’m a builder too. I’d rather help you find the highest-value next step, put something useful into the world, learn from it, and iterate than spend three months creating the perfect strategy deck.
That curiosity has taken me particularly deep into B2B technology and the Microsoft ecosystem, where I’ve worked across product marketing, go-to-market, sales enablement, ABM, events, content, positioning, and growth. The disciplines change. The question I keep coming back to doesn’t:
What actually matters right now?
That’s usually where we start.
